Secondary: Home Education Physical Education Classes

Are you home-educated and looking for a fun and engaging way to stay active? At Better Active Oldham, we’re thrilled to offer physical education classes specifically designed for secondary school-aged children.

Our sessions are aligned with the national PE curriculum and are filled with energy, excitement, and numerous opportunities to make new friends. These HomeEd Physical Education classes provide the same level of fitness and fun as traditional school PE, but are tailored to meet the unique needs of home-educated teens.

Whether you want to boost your fitness, enhance your teamwork skills, or simply enjoy a lively and supportive environment, our classes are the perfect choice. We focus on making physical education both enjoyable and social, giving secondary school-aged home-educated students the chance to play, learn, and grow together in a dynamic and educational setting.

• Autumn 1 (10th September 2024 - 22nd October 2024): Project-Based Learning & Mindfulness
• Autumn 2 (5th November 2024 - 17th December 2024): Health Education, Movement & Fitness to Music
• Spring 1 (7th January 2025 - 18th February 2025): Principles, Tactics, Attacking & Defending
• Spring 2 (4th March 2025 - 8th April 2025): Principles, Tactics, Attacking & Defending
• Summer 1 (29th April 2025 - 27th May 2025): Physical Competition & Challenges
• Summer 2 (10th June 2025 - 15th July 2025): Outdoor Adventure & Active Learning

Who Can Join: These sessions are tailored for secondary school-aged children currently being home-educated. Our classes provide a unique opportunity for parents, carers, and children to come together and engage in structured physical education.

• Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Venue: OBA Millennium Centre, Featherstall Rd N, OL9 6BQ
• Age Group: Secondary (Key Stage 3) children (Years 7 to 11)
