Are you home-educated and looking for a fun and engaging way to stay active? At Better Active Oldham, we're excited to offer physical education classes specifically designed for primary-aged children.

These sessions are not only in line with the national PE curriculum but are also packed with energy, excitement, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Our HomeEd Physical Education classes bring the same level of fitness and fun that you’d find in school, tailored to the unique needs of home-educated children.

Whether your goal is to boost your fitness, sharpen your teamwork skills, or just have a blast in a lively and supportive environment, our classes are the perfect fit. We’re all about making physical education enjoyable and social, giving primary-aged home-educated children the chance to play, learn, and grow together in a space that’s both fun and educational.

• Autumn 1 (10th September 2024 - 22nd October 2024): Project-Based Learning & Mindfulness
• Autumn 2 (5th November 2024 - 17th December 2024): Health Education, Movement & Fitness to Music
• Spring 1 (7th January 2025 - 18th February 2025): Principles, Tactics, Attacking & Defending
• Spring 2 (4th March 2025 - 8th April 2025): Principles, Tactics, Attacking & Defending
• Summer 1 (29th April 2025 - 27th May 2025): Physical Competition & Challenges
• Summer 2 (10th June 2025 - 15th July 2025): Outdoor Adventure & Active Learning

Who Can Join:These sessions are tailored for primary-aged children currently being home-educated. Our classes provide a unique opportunity for parents, carers, and children to come together and engage in structured physical education.

• Date: Every Tuesday (term-time only)
• Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
• Venue: OBA Millennium Centre, Featherstall Rd N, OL9 6BQ
• Age Group: Primary (Key Stage 2) children (Years 1 to 6)
